Four Firebirds Earn All-Region Honors
WASHINGTON, DC- the University of the District of Columbia's women's Indoor track and Field boasts four USTFCCA All-Region Athletes.
Emmanuela Katou Kouami (weight throw). Kouami had the fifth best mark in the Region with a throw of 14.53m.
Iyanna Jackson (60m). Jackson had the third best time in the Region in the 60m (7.77s).
Kayla Cooper (60m and 200m). Cooper had the fifth best mark in the Region in the 200m (25.47s) and was tied with her teammate Jackson for the third best time in the 60m (7.77s)
Zoe Shaw (high jump and triple jump). Shaw had the fourth best mark in the Region in the triple jump (11.46m) and the third best mark in the high jump (1.63m).
