UDC Women's Track & Field Compete in Final Meet Before Conference Championships

LYNCHBURG, VA- the University of the District of Columbia's women's track and field team competed at the Liberty Open, to complete their schedule before the ECC Championships later this month.

Kayla Cooper ran a season and ECC best time of 7.85s in the 60m dash.

Rainn Sheppard bested her 800m time, running 2:20.02 to remain on top of the ECC standings. 

Tukey Francis ran a season best 59.56s in the 400m to place 10th/68.

Zoe Shaw placed 4th in the triple jump with a leap of 11.46m and then went on to place 16th/66 in the long jump with a leap of 5.15m.  

Up next, UDC will head to Staten Island for the Conference Championships on the 18th.
