UDC Women's Indoor Track & Field Team Voted to Place Third in ECC Preseason Poll

The UDC Women's Indoor Track and Field team was tabbed to place third in the ECC preseason Coaches Poll, as was announced by the league earlier today.

The Firebirds took third place at last year's ECC Championship meet, where Kayla Cooper was named the Most Oustandng Athlete of the Meet after sweeping the the 60m and 200m. The Firebirds also boasted eight All-Conference honorees. Ayesha Jarrett won the 500m breaking the ECC Championship record with a time of 1:16.43.

UDC will open their season on Thursday at the liberty Kick-off in Lynchburg, Va.
