Six Firebirds Earn All-Conference Honors for their Performances in the ECC Championship

WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Shanise Rose, Kamille Dixon, Ayesha Jarrett, Christine Taylor, Iyanna Jackson, and Fanta Sanogo earned All-Conference honors for their performances at the ECC Indoor Track and Field Championship.

Rose won the 60m hurdles with a season's best time of 9.18s and went on to place second in the 60m dash with a time of 7.91s and fifth in the 200m. Dixon placed second in the 1000m with a personal best time of 3:03.86. Jarrett placed second in the 400m with a time of 59.03s and went on to lead off the 4x400m relay, which consisted of Jackson , Sanogo, and Taylor, which placed second.
