UDC’s Dominika Hadnadova Earns Women’s Tennis 2nd Team All-East Coast Conference Distinction

WEST BABYLON, NY – The University of the District of Columbia's Dominika Hadnadova has earned Women's Tennis Second Team All-East Coast Conference distinction for her performance during the 2017 fall season.

Hadnadova is now a three-time career All-ECC selection having earned First Team All-ECC as a sophomore in 2015, and Second Team All-ECC as a junior and senior in 2016 and 2017.

The Sala, Slovakia native was 5-6 overall and 4-3 vs. the ECC at No. 1 singles this season, boasting a 6-2, 6-4 win vs. fellow 2nd Team All-ECC selection Nthabi Mogopodi of Roberts Wesleyan. In doubles play, she was 4-6 overall and 3-4 vs. the ECC, winning four of her final five overall No. 1 doubles matches to end the season.

Hadnadova helped lead the Firebirds to a 4-6 overall mark this fall, which included a 4-3 record in ECC play. UDC just missed an ECC playoff spot this season, but will resume play in the spring.
