UDC Women’s Tennis Falls to Division I George Mason, 7-0
MONTCLAIR, VA – The University of the District of Columbia women's tennis team was defeated by Division I foe George Mason University, 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at Montclair Country Club.
The Firebirds (5-6), in their first action since October 23rd, 2015, were swept in all three doubles matches and all six singles matches. George Mason improved to 5-11 overall.
Senior Peerada Looareesuwan was very competitive in her No. 3 singles loss to Morgan Yang. She lost her first set, 6-2, won the second set, 6-3, but was finally outlasted, 15-13 in the tiebreak.
UDC returns to action on Saturday, March 26th when the Firebirds visit regional foe Chestnut Hill College.
