ARLINGTON, VA – The University of the District of Columbia women's tennis team won all five singles matches and both doubles matches in straight sets as the Firebirds earned a dominant, 7-0 win over East Coast Conference foe, Dowling on Sunday afternoon at the Arlington YMCA.

The Firebirds won their third straight match and improved to 7-3 overall, 6-2 in the ECC. Dowling remained winless at 0-7 overall and 0-6 in league play.

UDC will rest until the ECC Semifinals on Friday, October 24th. The Firebirds are currently No. 4 in the league standings and are assured a spot in the four-team ECC playoff for the fourth consecutive year.
