FLUSHING, NY - The University of the District of Columbia women's tennis team returns to the ECC Championship Tournament for the 3rd consecutive year as the No. 3 seed in this year's tournament. The Firebirds will square off against tournament host and No. 2 seed, Queens, tomorrow at 2 p.m.

District of Columbia ended the regular season with an overall record of 7-2 and a 6-2 mark in the ECC. The Firebirds have proven to be a dominant this fall as six of their seven wins this season have been shutouts. They have also been hot as of late, winning four of their last five matches, including their last two.

UDC's only two losses this season have come against the top two teams in the league, No. 1 NYIT and No. 2 Queens. Against Queens, UDC suffered an 8-1 defeat at home back on Oct. 5.
