Season: 4th

2012-13: First Team All-ECC selection and pre-season ECC Player of the Year...ranked No. 4 in the ITA East Region singles poll...earned a 12-4 singles record and 8-6 doubles mark...was 10-3 in dual matches at No. 1 spot, including a 5-2 mark in conference play...advanced to the ITA Regional "A" Singles Draw quarterfinals...teamed with Sofia Leon for a 6-3 mark (4-2 ECC) at No. 2 doubles and also finished 2-3 while playing with Maxime Duijst.

2011-12: First Team All-ECC selection...finished 14-6 overall in singles play and 12-10 in doubles...she was 14-5 at the No. 1 spot in dual matches, including a perfect 7-0 in conference play...teamed with Maria Vitkina at No. 1 doubles to go 12-9 in dual matches (5-3 ECC).

2010-11: Finished season with a 12-3 singles and 12-4 doubles record. Named to East Coast Conference (ECC) 2010 All-Conference First Team. Received team's 2010-11 MVP Award.

High School: Nunez is a 2010 graduate of Colegio Americano Guayaquil… competed in tennis, swimming, volleyball and track & field… was swimmer and volleyball player of the year for three consecutive years… was athlete of the year for those three years… ranked number two in her province in tennis and ranked sixth nationally in tennis.

Personal: Daughter of Victor Hugo Nunez and Alexandra Mendoza...one brother, Victor (12) and one sister Johanna Nunez (24)...electrical engineering major...hobbies include chatting, listening to music, hanging out with friends and watching tennis… other sports she enjoys to watch or play are swimming and volleyball… favorite athletes are Francesca Schiavone and Roger Federer… favorite food is artichoke lasagna… favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy… reason for choosing UDC was the engineering program and because she loves playing tennis… Dowling College also expressed interest in Jessica… favorite thing about UDC is traveling with the team… greatest athletic experience was reaching the “Sweet Sixteen” with her teammates… dream as a college athlete is to win the ITA and the Nationals… greatest athletic influence has been her parents… most impressive person she has ever met is her father… gameday habit is to listen to music that makes her want to dance.
