Philadelphia Lady Rams Sweep Lady Firebirds 9-0 on Senior Day

Washington, DC: April 26,  2008-- Senior Day for the University Lady Firebirds was not a happy occasion, as they were swept by the Lady Rams of Philadelphia University, 9-0, in tennis action on the UDC Tennis Courts today. On a happy note though was the celebration of the end of the collegiate playing career of senior Eniola Bakare ( Staten Island, NY) as she prepares to receive her bachelor's degree in Commencement ceremonies on May 10th. Coach Alexander presented her wih a gift and thanke her for her contributions to the tennis program. Bakare is a two sport student-athlete who also played basketball at UDC.
