Russie B. Alexander Named New Men's & Women's Tennis Coach

Russie B. Alexander has joined the staff as Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. He comes to UDC from the Fairfax County Public School System (VA) where he serves as a full-time physical education teacher.

Coach Alexander’s previous experience includes having served as athletic director and head coach for men’s basketball, and head coach for the co-ed tennis program at the Takoma Park Campus of Montgomery College. He has also coached in the Washington Area Tennis League and taught classes for the Reston Tennis Association (VA).

Alexander earned a bachelor of science degree in education (1983), and a master of education degree (1995) from George Mason University. He also holds professional certificates in specialized areas from George Mason.
