WASHINGTON, DC- the University of the District of Columbia's women's lacrosse team fell to Molloy University 19-2, Saturday afternoon at the Jackson Reed H.S Field.
Shannen Graham made a game and career high 17 saves on the defensive end and Jada Williams was responsible for the Firebirds two goals on the day. Williams also won a game-high six draw controls.
The Lions outshot the Firebirds 40-6 and turned the ball over only five times compared to the home UDC's 18.
Up next, UDC (1-11, 0-5 ECC) will host Caldwell University on Wednesday afternoon at the Georgetown University Cooper Field. The game is slated to begin at 4:00pm.
