UDC Women's Lacrosse Gears Up for Season Opener
WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's women's lacrosse team will open their season on the road against Holy Family University, Monday (Feb 20th) at 4:00 PM.
UDC opens the season with a three game stint on the road, taking on CACC members Holy Family, Alliance, and Dominican University on the 20th, 23rd and 25th.
They open up March with two home games before heading back on the road for their next three match ups. They kick off conference play against D'Youville up in Buffalo, N.Y. on the 18th and then head to Molloy University on the 25th. They welcome Daemen University on the 31st to close out the month.
UDC winds down the season with just three games in April, the last two of which will be held at home.
The Firebirds return seven players and add nine new players to the roster. They were voted to place seventh in the conference preseason polls, by the coaches.
