Bryn Athyn, PA- The University of the District of Columbia Women's Lacrosse Team fell to Holy Family, Wednesday afternoon at the Nelson Field.
The Firebirds made up for a slow first half by scoring the first two goals of the second half. Kianna Franklin scored the first goal followed by senior Amy Rock, less than a minute after. The Firebirds last and final goal came from Franklin, making this her first two goals of the season. Rebekah Clements led the team with eight draw controls and tied Madison Boykin with four ground balls. UDC ultimately fell to Holy Family 16-3.
This loss puts UDC 0-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
The Firebirds look to take on LIU Post in a home game on Saturday March 16 at 2:30pm.
