UDC Women’s Lacrosse Looks to Compete In Powerhouse East Coast Conference in 2015
WASHINGTON, DC - Yesterday, the East Coast Conference released its Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll. University of the District of Columbia, coming off its inaugural season in 2014, earned 10 points and was predicted to finish 9th in the poll, while Dowling and LIU Post tied for 1st place with 76 points each.
UDC returns standout junior, Amber Walls who registered a team-high of seven goals last year including a season-high of three goals at Mercy on March 3rd, 2014.
The Firebirds will open the 2015 season at home on March 1st vs. non-region opponent, West Virginia Wesleyan.
