Tajruba Baldwin-Kollore Earns Women’s Basketball First Team All-ECC Honor; Iman Scott Named Third Team

WASHINGTON, DC – Senior guard Tajruba Baldwin-Kollore earned First Team All-East Coast Conference and senior forward Iman Scott was named Third Team, as the All-Conference awards were announced on Friday, March 4th at the pre-tournament banquet hosted by the University of the District of Columbia at the brand new UDC Student Center.

Baldwin-Kollore finished the regular season 3rd in the conference in scoring at 16.7 points per-game, 3rd in assists with 100, 1st in three-point field goal percentage at 42.6, and 2nd in free-throw percentage at 84.2. She became the school's 6th women's basketball student-athlete to reach the 1,000-point career scoring milestone on February 10th. She has scored in double-figures in 27 games this season, and in 47 games the past two years.

Scott finished the regular season 14th in the conference in scoring at 12.6 points per-game, 10th in field goal percentage at 42.9, 4th in free-throw percentage at 81.5, 11th in offensive rebounds with 66, and 13th in blocks with 24. Her 36-point scoring effort in UDC's triple-overtime win at Roberts Wesleyan on December 11th stands as an ECC individual single-game high this season.

The No. 3 seeded Firebirds will take on No. 2 Queens College in the second women's semifinal game tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
