Come Show Your Firebird Spirit at the Basketball Send-Off Pep Rallies!

WASHINGTON, DC - The University of the District of Colulmbia will host two separate pep rallies at the circle in front of the UDC Auditorium for the men's and women's basketball teams in honor of both teams' Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament selections.

The women earned a No. 8 seed in the East Regional Tournament, and they will take on the No. 1 seed and host, Bentley University on Friday, March 9th at 6:00 p.m. in Waltham, MA. The Firebirds will depart on Wednesday, March 7th at 12 p.m.

The men earned a No. 7 seed in the East Regional Tournament, and they will battle the No. 2 seed Stonehill College at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. The Firebirds will depart on Thursday, March 8th at 1:15 p.m.

Come celebrate both teams' trips to the NCAA Tournament by cheering for them as they depart for Massachussetts. Let's go Firebirds!
