UDC LADY FIREBIRDS LOSE TO MILLERSVILLE LADY MARAUDERS

Washington, DC: The Millersville Lady Marauders defeated the University of the District of Columbia Lady Firebirds basketball team 84-58 tonight in Millersville, Pennsylvania. Millersville jumped out to an early lead and did not look back. At halftime they led UDC 44-19, shooting 51% to UDC’s 28%.

Leading Millersville was reserve F Gladine St. Julien, who scored a career high 20 points
(17 points in the first half), and grabbed eight rebounds. Marauder forwards Ashley Romananoski and Jamika Rehm also added 10 points each off the bench as Millersville earned their first victory of the 2005-06 season.

In the lost, UDC Robin Williams scored 19 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 2 assists and had 2 steals. Guard Tyane Washington pumped in 10 points and grabbed six rebounds.

UDC‘s next game will be Saturday, December 3, at 2 p.m., at home when they take on West Liberty College. Their season record is now 1-5.
