Firebirds Conclude Regular Season with Win Over Kutztown
WASHINGTON, DC- the University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team defeated Kutztown University 6-1 in their regular season finale at the UDC Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon. The Firebirds improve to 11-8 on the season, which marks their first winning season since the 2013-14 season
The Firebirds won the doubles point after sweeping all three doubles matches and went on to win 5/6 singles matches.
Prior to the start of the match the Firebirds celebrated senior Antonio Simo Durall.
Up next, UDC (11-8, 3-3 ECC) will prepare to compete in the ECC Championships on April 26th. Details TBA.
