UDC Men's Tennis Season Comes to a Close After Falling to STAC in the ECC Tournament Semifinals

FLUSHING, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team fell to STAC 0-4, Friday afternoon in the ECC Tournament Semifinals, hosted at the Queens College Tennis Center.

STAC claimed the doubles point after wins at No. 1 and 3 and then went on to win at No.6, 5, and 3 to secure their spot in the ECC finals.

The Firebirds finished the season with a 5-13, 2-5 ECC record. They swept Daemen in the regular season round-robin to secure the #3 seed coming into today's semifinal.

"I'm very proud of how the team has stuck together, worked hard on and off the court, and competed this season," said Coach Mahaffey.
