UDC Men’s Tennis Defeats Frostburg State 6-1
Washington, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's tennis team defeated Frostburg State University 6-1, Sunday afternoon at the East Potomac Courts.
The No.1 doubles team of Kostiantyn Kalchev and Louis Mangeon dominated Geoffrey Goldring and Msaon Hordubay 6-0. Maksim Bahdanovich and Enzo Alavaski defeaed Tim Goldring and Toheeb Aroworowon 6-0. To finish out the doubles competition Juan Estevez Hernandez and Wilson Cano defeated Justin Davis and Christian Deynes 6-4.
Kalchev, Mangeon,Alavaski, Hernandez and Bahdanovich swept No. 1-5 singles 6-0, 6-0. Wilson Cano fell to Tim Goldring 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.
The Firebirds are now 1-0 on the season and will host USciences on Wednesday October 2ndat 11:00am.
