Bozic unbeaten in all singles and double matches this spring.

Rok Bozic Collects East Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week Honors

WEST BABYLON, NY – The University of the District of Columbia's Rok Bozic earned East Coast Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his respective performances in the week ending March 18th. 

Bozic won all his No. 1 singles and doubles matches in three matches UDC played in this week. UDC won two of the three matches, winning against USciences and Jefferson but losing to Chestnut Hill College. However, Bozic was unbeaten; he beat USciences Borna Novak, 2-6, 6-3, 18-16, Chestnut Hill's Felix Andre, 6-4, 6-4, and Jefferson's Oskar Haedicke, 6-1, 6-2. 

The senior from Ljubljana, Slovenia, inspired his teammates in a week that saw the Firebirds go 2-1. His form this season has been outstanding as he's 4-0 in singles play and is also 4-0 in doubles play. 

Bozic and the Firebirds, will be going into their first ECC match full of confidence looking to upset a talented NYIT side who are 4-0 this season, Friday March 23rd at 10AM.
