Firebirds Defeated by LeMoyne, 5-4

WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis team was defeated, 5-4 by LeMoyne College in regional non-conference action Friday afternoon at UDC Tennis Courts.

The Firebirds fell to 1-2 overall with the loss while the Dolphins – a member of the Northeast 10 Conference – improved to 2-1.

UDC won two of the three doubles matches but only two of the six singles matches, as the visitors snuck away with the narrowest of wins.

The Firebirds return to dual match play for their championship season in the spring.
