UDC Men’s Tennis Suffers Shutout Loss at No. 19 NYIT

SYOSSET, NY – The University of the District of Columbia was shut out 9-0 at No. 19 ranked NYIT on Friday afternoon in East Coast Conference play at Sportime NY courts.

The Bears, ranked No. 2 in the region, improved to 16-4 overall and 5-0 in league play with their fifth straight victory. UDC fell to 6-5 overall and 2-2 in the ECC with its second straight loss.

The Firebirds will stay in Long Island to visit another ECC foe, Dowling tomorrow, April 12th at 1 p.m. in West Islip, NY.
