Firebirds Defeat Catholic University Cardinals, 5-4, in Men’s Tennis

Washington, DC: September 22, 2010—Freshman Carlos Quiroga (Electrical Engineering-Valencia, Venezuela) played the decisive role in the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Men's Tennis defeat of the Catholic University Cardinals, today, at the Catholic University Tennis Courts in Washington, DC. Quiroga's thrilling, come from behind, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1, defeat of Cassian Utrie clinched the victory and gave the Firebirds a, 5-4, win over the Cardinals, with just enough sunlight to complete the match.
