WASHINGTON, DC - Last Friday, February 3rd, the University of the District of Columbia Men's Soccer team completed its annual community service at DC Central Kitchen, where the players prepared food for the homeless. The staff at DC Central instructed and offered professional guidance as the studnt-athletes cut up chicken and vegetables before they were distributed to various satellite sites.

Men's Assistant Coach Danny Wadeson revealed: "The players always enjoy the DC Central kitchen and the environment they create there makes us feel at home. Team chemistry was excellent, and we look forward to helping them further with future engagements."

Next up for the men's soccer team is the DC Rock n Roll Marathon in mid-March, where the Firebirds will bestow race packets to participants.
