Firebirds Soccer Closes Out Season Falling to Davis & Elkins, 2-0

Elkins, WV: October 30, 2010-- After a hard fought contest, the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Men' Soccer Team succumbed, 2-0, to the Davis & Elkins College Senators, today, in Elkins, West Virginia. The tough defensive play demonstrated by both teams worked to the advantage of Davis & Elkins as they were able to score two goals and gain the shut out.

Firebirds goal keeper freshman Kyle Heatherington ((Business-Collingwood, Ontario Canada) faced 6 shots, 5 on goal and allowed two goals. He also made 6 saves. The Firebirds took 6 shots with 2 on goal.

UDC their closed out their season at 4-12-1.
