West Chester, PA: October 3, 2010-- The University of the District of Columbia Men's Soccer Team was shutout, 2-0, today by the West Chester University Golden Rams in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The Golden Rams scored 1 goal in the first and second half to capture the win.

Firebird freshman goal keeper Kyle Heatherington (Business-Collingwood, Ontario Canada)  faced 13 shots, ( 10 on goal) and made 7 saves.  The Golden Rams goal keeper faced 5 shots (3 on goal)  and made 3 saves during the contest.

The first  West Chester goal came in the 37th minute when Kevin MacCann scored unassisted, and their second goal was scored in the 55th minute when Ricky Williamson took a cross from Kyle Miller and sent  the ball into the back of the  net.

The Firebirds resume their schedule of play on October 7, at 6 p.m., against the Washington Adventist University Shock  in Takoma Park, Maryland
