UDC senior defender/ mid-fielder Samer Shehadeh (Falls Church, VA) led the Firebird comeback with a goal early in the second half at the 49th minute to give them their first score of the match. Continuing their aggressive play, sophomore forward Adriel Garcia (Brazil) scored unassisted in the 5oth minute to bring the Firebirds to within 1 goal.
The Firebirds had several additional scoring opportunities, but the Huskies put up a staunch defense and held on for the 3-2 win.
