UDC Falls to East Stroudsburg, 7-0, in soccer

East Stroudsburg, PA: September 5, 2009—In a hard fought contest, the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Men’s Soccer Team fell to the East Stroudsburg Warriors, 7-0, tonight in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.  Six players scored for the Warriors in spite of UDC substitute goal keeper Nersa Looky-Djobo’s efforts to stop the ball from crossing the goal line after replacing regular goal keeper Kareem Gray, who made 6 saves during the contest.

The Firebirds, now 1-2-1, return to the field of action on September 8, 2009 against Division I local George Washington University.
