UDC Falls to Columbia Union 4-2 in Soccer Action

Washington, DC: September 11, 2007—The Columbia Union College Pioneers defeated the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds 4-2 this afternoon in soccer action at Trinity University. Senior Se-Eun Park paced the Pioneers with 2 goals coming in the 22nd and 81st minutes.

UDC’s goals came in the 32nd minute from sophomore Devron Henry and the 85th minute from freshman Samer Shehadeh. The Pioneers’ other two goals were scored by junior Solomon Enwereji in the 35th minute, and junior Edward Kamara in the 75th minute.

UDC will see action again on September 21, against Christopher Newport University at the Germantown SoccerPlex in Germantown, Maryland.
