Carnell Lofton Jr. Earns ECC Second-Team Honors

WASHINGTON, DC- Carnell Lofton Jr. was named to the ECC Second-Team All-Conference list, as was announced by the conference office Friday afternoon.

Loftton Jr. finished the season with a face-off percentage of 61.7% going 150-243, which was good for sixth overall, and was first in conference play going 98-149. He also picked up a total of 76 groundballs during the season which was good for second overall, 54 of those being in conference play which was good for first.  

Carnell is the first Firebird since LaRon Hinton, Teilen Celentano, and Alan Singleton back In 2018 to receive post-season honors. The Firebirds finished the season with a 3-7 overall record and a 2-4 Conference record finishing 5th in the conference with wins over St Thomas Aquinas, and D'Youville College.
