Joseph Cote Earns ECC Player of the Week

WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Joseph Cote was named ECC Offensive Player of the week, as was announced by the Conference office Monday evening. Zander Torres also made the weekly honor roll for the third time this season.

Cote totaled 11 points on seven goals and four assists last week. He had six points off of four goals and two assists in the Firebirds' win over STAC, then went on to score three goals and two assists in the win over D'Youville. He is also the first Firebird on the team to receive this honor this season.

Torres had nine points on the week with five goals and four assists. In the win over STAC, he added two goals, an assist, and three groundballs. In the win over D'Youville he posted a hat trick with three goals and three assists while picking up seven groundballs and forcing two turnovers.

UDC concluded the 2022 season with a 3-7 overall record and 2-4 in the ECC.
