High School: Jose attended Oxon Hill high school and participated in lacrosse, swimming and soccer. The three time varsity letters winner was an MVP and a two time captain in lacrosse under Reginald Martin...was an honor roll student as well.

Personal: Son of Janneth and Milton Leon...Civil Engineering...Jose has a younger brother named Dario Leon...hobbies include playing music and watching/playing soccer...favorite athletes are Lionel Messi and his grandfather...favorite food is "Bolivian food..." favorite movies are Interstellar, Inception and The Great Gatsby...favorite tv show is Spongebob Squarepants...favorite music artist are Cold Play, Drake and The Weeknd...favorite websites are Youtube and Netflix...chose UDC because of their great engineering program, great location, affordable education and an opportunity to play lacrosse...favorite thing about UDC and District of Columbia are, the city is awesome and even though UDC is small, it makes you get closer to people quickly...greatest athletic experience is scoring the game-tying goal in a rivalry game and winning in double overtime...greatest athletic influences are his high school coaches...picked #10 because in high school that was his favorite number...dream as a student-athlete is to make long-life friends with teammates...career goals is to be successful in life and prosper with the people he loves.
