Chase Fraser Earns Third ECC Men’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week Honor in Season’s Final Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Freshman attack Chase Fraser earned his third East Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honor for his performance in last Sunday's season finale vs. Molloy.
Fraser (Elementary Education – Aldergrove, BC/Blue Ridge School) registered five points on four goals and one assist in a 20-12 loss to the Lions on Sunday. He took 11 shots (six SOG) and collected three ground balls.
With this third honor, Fraser has now won more rookie of the week honors than anyone in the conference. He leads all freshman across Division II and ranks T-11th in goals per-game (3.00).
He completed his stellar rookie campaign with 37 points on 31 goals and six assists, helping the UDC men's lacrosse program to three wins in its inaugural season.
