Jahmir Marable-Williams and Michael Aiken Earn All Conference Honors

WEST BABYLON, N.Y.- Jahmir Marable-Williams was named to the ECC First-Team and Michael Aiken was named to the ECC Second-Team, as was announced by the Conference, morning.

Marable-Williams led the conference in assists (6.6 per game) and steals (2.2 per game). He was 21st in points per game (11.5) and 17th in rebounds per game (5.3). He was also 10th in field goal percentage shooting the ball at 48.8 percent. Marable-Williams ended the regular season ranked 5th in the nation in assists and currently holds the the title of all-time assists leader here at UDC. 

Aiken ranked fourth in the conference with 15.7 points per game, shooting the ball at 52.2% from the field (6th) and 45.5% from behind arc (2nd). He finished sixth in assists (3.4) and shot at 85.5% from the charity stripe, which was the best in the conference. 

The Firebirds continue their season this weekend in the ECC Semi-finals at Sparkhill, N.Y. where they will take on the top-seeded St Thomas Aquinas College at noon.
