Jahmir Marable-Williams Earns Second East Coast Conference Player of the Week Honors: Three other Firebirds Make Weekly Honor Roll

BABYLON, N.Y..- Jahmir Marable-Williams was named the ECC Player of the week, for the second time this season, for his performance last week. Hartnel Haye, Ronnasia Blatch-Huggins and Iyanna Jackson also made it onto the weekly honor roll.

Marable-Williams registered a triple-double in the Firebirds win over Molloy College. He posted 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists while adding three steals and a block. In the close loss at Queens, Marable-Williams led UDC with 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and a steal

Haye registered a double-double for the week averaging 17ppg, and 10.5 rebounds per game. Ronnasia Blatch-Huggins also averaged a double-double for the Firebirds with 16.5 ppg and 12.5 rebounds per game.

Iyanna Jackson had a strong showing at the East Coast Invitational placing third in the 60m with a personal best time of 7.74s, which was also the fastest DII time. She then went on to run a season best time of 25:99s in the 200m which was also the fastest DII time at the meet.
