High School: Graduate of Grand Prarie High School where he played basketball all four years...was named to the first team all-district.

Personal: Son of Jacqueline Sam...majoring in Political Science...hobbies include cooking, watching movies, and grilling...favorite athletes are Ray Lewis, Derrick Rose, and Jeremy Lin...favorite foods are steak and potatoes...favorite movie is Pursuit of Happiness...favorite TV shows are Martin and shows on ESPN...chose UDC because is close to home which allows him to stay closer to his family...his dream as a college athlete is to win a NCAA Championship...the most impressive person he has ever met is his mother.
