Season: 1st

High School: Attended Theodore Roosevelt High School where he played basketball under Coach Rob Nickens. As a forward he led his team to a 22-7 record his senior year also in route to being an honorable mention All-Met player as well as All-DCIAA player.

College: D’Angelo attended and played basketball at Virginia State in Petersburg, VA for the 2010-11 school year.

Personal: The son of Reggie Cox and Lattice Johnson…has one sister, Renee (5), and one brother, Davoni Jones (8)… mass media major with a career goal of one day becoming a professional athlete… hobbies include shopping, video gaming, cars, and dogs… another sport he enjoys to play or watch is football… favorite athlete is Gilbert Arenas… favorite food is pasta… favorite movie is Friday… favorite TV shows are Martin and Fresh Prince… favorite music artist is Yo Gotti… reason for choosing UDC was its closeness to his home… Howard, Hampton, and Binghamton also recruited D’Angelo…  favorite thing about UDC is that it is laid back… greatest athletic influence is Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
