Firebirds to Play Apprentice Builders Tonight in Newport News, VA

The UDC Firebirds Men's Basketball Team (6-12) travels to Newport News, Virginia tonight to play The Apprentice School Builders (10-9). The Builders swept the series last season and the Firebirds look to avenge those losses this year.

 The Firebirds backcourt duo of Brandon Herbert (Sociology-Baltimore, MD) and Nigel Munson (Graphic Design-Washington, DC)continue to be among the most productive in Division II schools, totaling a combined 544 points already this season. UDC defeated Pfeiffer University 97-96 in their last outing on January 29. Herbert led all scorers in that contest, with 27 points, while Munson added 21.

 The Builders enter this game with a two game win streak after defeating Livingstone College 78-74 on January 28.
