Basketball Teams Look for Weekend Road Wins

 The University of the District of Columbia Men's & Women's Firebirds Basketball teams are traveling this weekend as they seek to improve their season records. The Men's Team is playing in the 45th Annual Pocono Classic at East Stroudsburg University on Friday & Saturday, December 4-5. They will play Slippery Rock University in the first round on Friday, at 3 p.m. On Saturday, December 5, they face the host East Stroudsburg University at 7:30 p.m. The games will be live casted via a link on the UDC Athletics Web Page Schedule Calendar.

 The Women's team faces Indiana University of Pennsylvania in a re-match on Saturday at Indiana, Pennsylvania. IUP defeated UDC, 59-46, in their first meeting here on November 24.
