This Week in Athletics 2/20-2/26
WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's women's lacrosse team open up their season with three games, men's and women's basketball team close out the regular season at home against RWC, and men's and women's tennis resumes the spring season.
Last Week's Recap- Both men's and women's basketball teams celebrated their seniors, and got the doubleheader win. The women's team secured a hosting spot in the conference torunament quarterfinals. Senior Juan Estevez Hernandez from men''s tennis was namd player of the week for the first time in his career and Hartnel Haye from men's basketball was named the Defensive Player of the Week. The women's track team placed third in the ECC Championships.
