This Week in Athletics 2/13-2/19
WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's men's and women's basketball teams, men's lacrosse and women's indoor track and field teams compete this weekend.
Last Week's Recap- The men's basketball team went 2-0 on the week, solidifying their spot in the conference tournamen next month. The women's basketball team went 1-1, also solidifying their spot in the tournament. Latavia Jackson hit her 1,000th career point in the Firebirds win over Molloy at home and Destiny Ryles was named ECC Player of the week. The men's tennis team opened their spring season at D1 Howard University and the women's track and field team competed at the D2 Pre Nationals meet.
