Westbury, N.Y.- The University of the District of Columbia women's lacrosse team fell to the NYIT Bears, Saturday Afternoon at the President's Stadium field.
It was a tough game for the Firebirds from start to finish as the NYIT Bears dominated to win 19-0. Leading scorers Kianna Franklin and Madison Boykin took three shots each but fell short. Franklin finishes the season with 17 goals and two assists and Boykin with 10 goals and two assists.
Goalkeeper Jada Foy led the conference with 157 saves for the season and Amy Rock led the Firebirds with seven assists.
The Firebirds finished their season with a record of 0-13 overall and 0-8 in conference play.
