
Mangeon and Queguiner Earn Top Singles and Doubles Recognition in East Region
WASHINGTON, DC – The University of the District of Columbia men's tennis program capped off the season with multiple players earning top-10 placements in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II East Regional Rankings, as was announced by the organization.
Louis Mangeon wrapped up his season as the No. 6-ranked singles player in the region, while Louka Queguiner followed closely at No. 8. The dynamic Firebird duo also claimed the No. 3 doubles ranking in the East Region.
Mangeon went 7-8 in singles play at the No.1 spot for the Firebirds, while Queguiner went 9-7 from the No.2 spot. As a pair, the duo went 8-8 in doubles play and made it all the way to the ITA East Regional Tournament semi-final round in the Fall. They also hold a 2-1 record against the No.1 ranked pair of Seth Newman and Henry Ronberg.
The entire team was also ranked 5th after completing their season with a 8-9 record and making their second consecutive NCAA tournament appearance.
