Firebirds Announce 2025 Men’s Lacrosse Schedule

Washington, D.C. - The University of the District of Columbia men's lacrosse team has unveiled its 2025 season schedule, featuring a competitive slate of matchups both at home and on the road. The Firebirds were also ranked seventh in the 2025 East Coast Conference (ECC) Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches.

The Firebirds open their campaign on February 12 against Holy Family, followed by a road test at Felician on February 16. Their first home game comes on February 22 against Georgian Court, marking their first ever contest on the new turf field in front of their home crowd. Click Here for full schedule.

District of Columbia's attacking duo of Dylan Donaldson (21G, 7A) and Jordan Schemm (17G, 9A) return for their senior seasons after combining for 55 percent of the Firebirds' offensive production a season ago. UDC will look to fill the hole in net left by the graduation of goalkeeper Najee Wilson, the reigning Division II national leader in saves per game (18.83). Receiving nine points to round out the preseason poll, District of Columbia finished 1-11 (0-6 ECC) last spring and earned a win over CACC foe Holy Family on March 8.
