Firebirds Fall to D’Youville 84-66

Buffalo, NY – The University of the District of Columbia men's basketball team put up a competitive fight but ultimately fell to D'Youville, 84-66, in an East Coast Conference (ECC) matchup on the road. The Firebirds split the season series with the Saints 1-1. 

The Saints got out to an early start, opening a 17-point lead going into half-time. Despite a strong offensive second-half, UDC wasn't able to overcome the deficit from the first half. Four Firebirds scored in double figures, with Tevin Curtis leading the way with 13 points. Charles Holley Jr also came off the bench to post a season-high 12 points and knocking down 3 three-pointers. D'Youville's Justin Moore led all scorers with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
