Multiple Firebirds Break PR's at the GBC Fall Classic

WILMINGTON, DE- The University of the District of Columbia's women's cross country team had a strong showing at the Goldey-Beacom Fall Classic, showing out with multiple PR's.

Pacing the Firebirds was Ayesha Jarrett who placed 13th out of 57 runners with a time of 22:35.9. Her time was almost a minute faster than her 5k opener a few weeks ago. 

Samantha Morrison, Chacoia Wilkes and Janel Baxter were the next three finishers. Morrison ran a time of 25:13.6, Wilkes ran a PR of 25:21.9 and Baxter finished with a PR of 25:34.7

UDC is idle next week, but will compete at the Salisbury Cross Country Invite on October 1st.
