Host of Firebirds Earn All-East Coast Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Honors

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Seven different student-athletes on the University of the District of Columbia Women's Outdoor Track & Field team earned All-East Coast Conference honors across eight different events, as the ECC announced the First & Second All-Conference Teams on Thursday, May 25th. The top two finishers in each event at the ECC Championship meet were named First Team All-Conference, while the third and fourth place finishers earned Second Team All-Conference distinction.

Each of the four members of the champion 4x400M Relay Team – Deasia Greer, Shannell Hibbert, Temera Duncan and Niasia Harding – earned First Team All-Conference honors. The team of all freshmen ran a time of 4:02.56, out-pacing the field by a little over 16 seconds.

Hibbert and Greer each also earned two other individual First Team All-Conference distinctions.
