Host of Firebirds Earn All-East Coast Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Honors

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – Seven different student-athletes on the University of the District of Columbia Women’s Outdoor Track & Field team earned All-East Coast Conference honors across eight different events, as the ECC announced the First & Second All-Conference Teams on Thursday, May 25th. The top two finishers in each event at the ECC Championship meet were named First Team All-Conference, while the third and fourth place finishers earned Second Team All-Conference distinction.

Firebirds' 4x400M Relay Wins Penn Relays Heat; Places 48th of 69 Teams Overall

PHILADELPHIA – The University of the District of Columbia women’s 4x400M Relay team won its heat and placed 48th of 69 teams with a season-best time of 3:55.76 on Day 1 of the world-renowned Penn Relays Thursday, April 27th. Deasia Greer ran leadoff, followed by Shannell Hibbert, Temera Duncan, and anchor Niasia Harding.
Firebirds Finish 4th at East Coast Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship

WEST NYACK, NY – The University of the District of Columbia Women’s Outdoor Track & Field team finished 4th of seven teams at the East Coast Conference Championship meet last Saturday, April 22nd hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College at Clarkstown South High School. The Firebirds competed in 13 different events and finished with a team score of 86 total points.
